Riverbed awards DC ANZ Partner of the Year

Distribution Central has been awarded the Riverbed Technology ANZ Partner of the Year 2012 Award, for the second year running.

After being a Riverbed Value-Added Distributor (VAD) since 2007, the channel distributor was also awarded ANZ Distributor of the Year at last year’s Riverbed APJ Partner Conference.

Presented at the Riverbed APJ Partner Awards 2013 in Macau, the awards recognise partners that demonstrated success in implementing Riverbed performance solutions for customers, grew revenues and business, and invested in their relationship with the company.

“We’re very proud to be recognised two years in a row by Riverbed," says Nick Verykios, MD, Distribution Central.

"Both awards are an acknowledgement of our unique channel enablement model that has been evolving through our innovative approach to channel development and has proven to be successful since we launched in 2004."

Headquartered in Auckland, DC represents vendors across security, networking/infrastructure, data storage and management and unified communications.

The company's current vendor portfolio is as follows: AccessData, Aruba Networks, Avaya, Extreme Networks, F5 Networks, Infoblox, Jabra, NetScout, Quantum, Riverbed, Sonus, Syncsort, Varonis and Xirrus.

“As global organisations implement new data center architectures, the Riverbed partner network is providing these customers with the right performance solutions to ensure the efficiency of their strategic IT initiatives,” says Joe McPhillips, A/NZ channel director, Riverbed

“With this award, we applaud Distribution Central’s performance and achievements as a Riverbed partner in 2012, and look forward to Distribution Central continuing to raise the bar for delivering business value in 2013.”
