FYI, this story is more than a year old

Dave Rosenberg will head up Westcon-Comstor's New Zealand operations next year, with the distributor currently looking to hire an Australian managing director.

Rosenberg has commuted between Australia and New Zealand for more than two years as the managing director for ANZ.

The role change comes as Mark Baker, New Zealand country manager, departs the company.

Rosenberg will continue to be a part of Westcon-Comstor's Asia-Pacific leadership team.

Patrick Aronson, previously vice president Asia, has been promoted to executive vice president for Asia Pacific, with both Rosenberg and the new Australian managing director reporting to him.

Rosenberg says having two locally-based country managers under Aronson's leadership will help further strengthen the distributor's leadership in the region.

“I have decided to move back to New Zealand to be closer to may family and Westcon-Comstor have supported this,” Rosenberg says.

“I'm excited to lead the New Zealand team.

Rosenberg held the role of managing director for Westcon New Zealand, and prior to that managing director of Datastor, for a number of years before being promoted to the ANZ role in 2014.
