Sage Business Solutions has rolled out its ERP X3 Industry Solutions Program, which it says signals ‘a new strategic approach’ and will enable the company to further develop its ERP solution for the mid-market, Sage ERP X3.The new programme will see industry-specific solutions developed by Sage and its partners, with modules aimed at the process and discrete manufacturing, services and distribution sectors. The first module, Project and Job Costing, is already available. Sage says the new Project and Job Costing module within Sage ERP X3 will help customers simplify the management of specific service activities and maintain full visibility on the operational, sales and financial aspects of their projects. The features are tailored to the needs of professional service companies, especially businesses delivering operational services such as recruitment and facilities management, or intellectual and technical services.The company says the programme will offer partners additional revenue opportunities by drawing on their industry experience, expertise and assets along with Sage’s expertise at a global level.
