SenPhi lands Yellowfin

27 Mar 14

Wellington-based SenPhi Technologies has signed a reseller agreement with Australian business intelligence vendor Yellowfin.

The deal will see SenPhi, which dubs itself ‘HR specialists for ICT projects’, providing Yellowfin’s BI solution and associated suite of professional services, to clients throughout New Zealand.

Esteban Fernandez Drovetta, SenPhi’s managing director, says Yellowfin’s ease-of-use and collaborative capabilities will meet growing demand for consumer-oriented BI in New Zealand and aligned to its approach to the management systems market.

“Nowadays, organisations are very reliant on their information and how it is transformed and presented,” Fernandez Drovetta says.

“Organisations invest millions on their intelligence and rely on that information to make sound decisions addressing critical issues.

"Many of these organisations have not been able to focus on the results of this information transformation process because of the daunting implementation process of traditional BI tools."

He says Yellowfin provides ‘a simple, easy to implement solution’ which addresses the issue.

“We look forward to satisfying the emerging needs of New Zealand’s business analytics market in partnership with Yellowfin.”

Patrick Elliott, Yellowfin Asia Pacific general manager, says the partnership with SenPhi will add significant value to the vendor’s distribution channel in New Zealand and expand its presence here.
