FYI, this story is more than a year old

ServiceNow recently held its inaugural ANZ Partner Summit in its newly opened World Square office in Sydney.

More than 100 partners from over 25 organisations attended the event on Wednesday, with the brand new space proving its worth.

According to ServiceNow, the one-day event was tailored to help their partner ecosystem kick start the year ahead and provide valuable insights into the ServiceNow business – what they say is the ‘fastest growing billion dollar cloud company in the world'.

Partners heard from a number of speakers, including ServiceNow ANZ managing director, David Oakley who gave an overview of the business and market opportunity; ServiceNow head of partners, Brent Paterson who gave an update on the Partner Program; as well as an update from ServiceNow experts around solution areas such as Security Operations, HR, Customer Service Management, and ITSM.

There were also a series of educational sessions that ServiceNow asserts armed partners with the tools required to accelerate their ServiceNow practices.

To wrap up the day, Paralympian Kurt Fearnley gave a keynote and shared some of his ‘kick ass' life stories, before finishing the day with a networking event.

Dr Marilyn Nelson from KPMG found the day to be invaluable, as it broke down barriers and set the partners on a united vision.

“It gave all partners the opportunity to come together to further our ServiceNow capability across ANZ,” Dr Nelson says.

“Partnership amongst partners is important for the success of the ServiceNow ecosystem across ANZ.

Helen Monaghan from RXP shares these sentiments.

“The Partner Summit was a great example of the openness and collaboration that ServiceNow promotes among the partner community,” says Monaghan.

“I was struck by the consistent focus on developing our capabilities and opportunities to deliver service to our customers."
