Huawei authorised resellers will have additional pre-sales technical support on hand following Simms International's appointment of Jo Vooght as technical sales consultant, Huawei.

Vooght, who has previously held senior technical rolls with companies including Vodafone, Gen-i and Telecom, will focus on providing pre-sales technical support to Huawei authorised resellers and helping develop corporate and enterprise reseller channel partnerships in New Zealand and Australia.

Simms International managing director Paul Johnston says the appointment will help strengthen and further improve the quality of sales and technical support the company provides to its channel partners, with the company 'totally focussed' on doing business through resellers.

Vooght adds that the position is a great opportunity to establish a well respected brand in the Australasian corporate and enterprise market.
