Simms International says it has signed its 106th authorised Dell reseller through its Dell PartnerDirect programme.
“Our business is 100% channel focused,” said Paul Johnston, Managing Director of Simms International. “Our mission is to be the number one partner for our vendors in our chosen markets and this is the approach we have taken with Dell.”
James Arnold, Channel Manager for Dell New Zealand, added, “Strong joint relationships created with Simms have driven new opportunities and supported Dell’s goal to focus on specific reseller partnerships.
“The channel remains integral to Dell’s success in New Zealand and thanks to these new partnerships our channel business has grown at many multiples to the market since February.”
Arnold said that because Dell and Simms are new kids on the block, they have to prove themselves to the reseller community, “which is the way we are approaching all of our channel relationships”.
Simms International recently added five new peripheral lines to its New Zealand reseller channel, which the firm says will compliment its range of Dell, Kingston and Motion Computing products.
