Solnet named first NZ JBoss Certified Partner

03 Nov 09

Red Hat today announced that Solnet Solutions is now a Red Hat Advanced Business Partner and New Zealand’s first certified JBoss partner in the region.

Solnet has a track record of delivering enterprise solutions using open source and is a Kiwi-owned business that develops, integrates and supports business solutions built on scalable platforms.

“We are delighted to be advancing our long-standing relationship with Red Hat,” said Mark Botherway, Managing Director of Solnet.

He added: “Never before has the case for commercial open source software been so compelling. It must be seriously considered as an integral part of any enterprise roadmap.”

Solnet is the first certified JBoss partner in the region, and Red Hat hopes to increase its New Zealand presence as demand increases.

“With increasing demand for JBoss Enterprise Middleware solutions, particularly as organisations look for ways to carve costs out of IT infrastructures, we now have a certified partner to help us address our clients’ needs,” said Max McLaren, Senior Director and General Manager for Red Hat Australia and New Zealand.
