Sophos Cloud set for November 25 ANZ launch…

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Sophos has revealed it plans to roll-out its cloud solution across Australia and New Zealand on November 25, available to both partners and end-users.

Offering "only end-point security to begin with", the global security firm says that while the solution will be readily available, their will be no pressure to conform and join the cloud.

“Sophos Cloud in ANZ will offer only end-point security to begin with," says Karen Delaney, channel director ANZ, Sophos.

"We are not going to be forcing the partners and customers into the cloud. We are simply offering our partners the ability to sell Sophos employing whichever platform suits their business

"However, what we are finding is our multi-platform strategy is affording traditional resellers an easy transition into the cloud."

Adding around 50 partners since Delaney took over the role, the company's new channel chief insists the blueprint isn't entirely focused on recruiting new partners.

“We have added around 50 partners since I took over the role," Delaney says.

"However, the story is not just about adding partners. It is about looking to enable our existing partner ecosystem.

"Our overall sales and technical training is available online and partners can access it in their own time to get the relevant certifications."
