Sophos reveals SSS as NZ Partner of the Year

31 Jul 12

Scientific Software & Systems Limited (SSS) has been awarded New Zealand Partner of the Year by security software developer Sophos for the fifth consecutive year.

Platinum partner SSS received the award at Sophos’s annual Asia/Pacific Partner Conference in Thailand earlier this month.

With over 25 years of industry experience, SSS has been a Sophos partner for ten years, now selling all five major categories of Sophos products.

“The award is about more than sales volumes," says Rob Forsyth, Sophos’s director.

“You need to look behind the financial achievement and ask why SSS are successful. They provide us with valuable feedback from their experience with their customers in a cooperative fashion.

“Sophos and SSS have a fantastic long-term partnership with each other and our mutual and happy customers.”

SS product manager Ashton Jones – who was also recognised at the conference, picking up the inaugural Most Valuable Account Executive award – echoed the comments believing the award to be recognition of the company’s technical expertise and the improved resources.

During the past two years the company has increased sales volume of Sophos products by around 150% with more hired sales staff.

“Winning Partner of the Year proves we’re top of our game,” Jones says.

“For our customers, it verifies that we are the specialists for the products we are reselling and supporting.”
