“The phenomenal growth in this region shows that Veeam is on the right track in providing businesses with solutions that address the needs of the Always-On Business,” says Don Williams, vice president, APAC, Veeam Software.

Veeam says businesses are demanding innovative solutions that will enable them to provide consistent availability of services and applications for their customers. Across the board they also want operational costs to be reduced and security in the modern data center to be improved.

Veeam says its solutions help to bridge the gap between requirements of the Always-On Business and IT’s ability to effectively deliver business continuity and IT resilience.

“Businesses are no longer confined to regular nine-to-five working hours. IT in organisations are expected to make applications and data available to all stakeholders every minute of every day. We are greatly encouraged by our results this quarter and remain committed to being the provider of choice for businesses that seek to meet the demands of Availability for the Modern Data Center,” he says.

The company also experienced customer growth, acquiring about 10,000 new customers in Q3 – total paid Veeam customers now surpass 121,500.
