Vodafone offers new iPad range across NZ
Thu, 22nd Nov 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Vodafone is offering the iPad range across New Zealand to customers from this Friday.

The telco giant says it will sell the iPad mini and fourth generation iPad to Kiwis with "attractive data plans", allowing customers in areas with DC coverage to connect to the "Dual Carrier" network.

Customers can pick up either Apple product for $0 upfront with 2GB data per month on Vodafone's Speedy $80 plan on a 24-month term.

Becoming the only carrier to range the products in the country, Vodafone says the company continues to "build on our legacy as the home of iPhone."

Customers can buy the iPad with Retina display from selected Vodafone stores and online by the end of the week, with availability of iPad mini is TBC.

Apple sold three million iPads in just three days since the launch of the products in early November.

The figures doubled the previous first weekend milestone of 1.5 million Wi-Fi only models sold for the third generation iPad in March.

More information will be available on the Vodafone website on Friday.
