31 Mar 10

Clive Donde (pictured) has been appointed the company's first NZ Territory Manager.

Based in Auckland, Donde will be responsible for managing business development through WatchGuard’s partners and customers.

Donde joins WatchGuard with 19 years of experience in the IT industry having worked for vendor organisations including AT&T, Hewlett Packard, Sophos and Cognos.

Scott Robertson, Regional Director ANZ, WatchGuard Technologies, said, “The last nine months have been particularly strong for WatchGuard ANZ in terms of both revenue performance and the expansion of our product lines. The New Zealand market tends to adopt new technology quickly and scrutinises the solutions thoroughly.”

Last week Robertson told our sister publication IT Brief that more security breaches will likely see official government policy introduced in New Zealand and Australia.
