Wellington's Factorial takes Quantum's top ANZ partner award

02 Jun 16

Wellington’s Factorial has taken top honours at Quantum’s ANZ Regional Partner Awards, being named the storage, archive and data protection vendor’s 2016 ANZ Partner of the Year.

The Kiwi company’s win comes as it expands its reach into new markets.

Jon Tinberg, Quantum ANZ marketing and channel sales manager, says Factorial has been a longstanding Quantum partner and has a strong business delivering media and entertainment solutions to companies including Maori Television, Park Road Post Production and Nga Taonga Sound and Vision.

“Factorial’s recent success expanding its business beyond media and entertainment and into other industries, such as genomic research and education, demonstrates the growing recognition of Quantum’s StorNext data management platform as the preeminent solution to meet customers’ demanding requirements,” Tinberg says.

“Factorial embodies the mindset of our successful partners, where Quantum storage is the foundation of customers’ workflow solutions.”

The awards, which were presented at Quantum’s APAC Partner Conference in Macau, recognise Quantum’s partners across Australia and New Zealand for their ‘outstanding’ service.

Tim Benson, Factorial co-director, says says the company is proud to have such a great partnership with Quantum and grateful to have been recognised with the ANZ Partner of the Year Award.

“We look forward to continued success in the future,” Benson says.

He says Quantum continues to provide industry-leading technology to power Factorial’s customers’ workflows and support the solutions the company engineers.

Other winners at the awards were Computers Now, which was named 2016 Quantum Alliance Scale-out Storage Partner of the Year and PMT Security Systems, which received the 2016 Video Surveillance Scale-out Storage Achievement Award.

ACA Pacific picked up the Quantum Alliance Distributor of the Year, with Amidata winning Quantum Alliance Data Centre Partner of the Year.
