Westcon wins big at Symantec 2014 Pacific Partner Awards...

Symantec has today announced the winners of the 2014 Pacific Partner Awards, held at an exclusive dinner and awards ceremony in Sydney last night.

The Symantec Pacific Partner Awards recognise local channel partners for their commitment to driving business success and positively contributing to their customers, the partner community and Symantec.

The award winners were selected based on a number of criteria including overall performance in revenue growth, achievement of Symantec specializations, joint marketing activities, program adoption, technical expertise and customer service excellence.

There are seven Symantec Pacific Partner Award categories. The 2014 award winners are:

· Distributor of the Year ANZ - Westcon New Zealand

· Managed Services Provider of the Year ANZ – Datacom New Zealand

· SMB Market Specialist of the Year ANZ – Ethan Group Australia

· Commercial Segment Partner of the Year ANZ – Insight Australia

· Symantec Partner of the Year ANZ – Data #3

· Specialised Growth Partner of the Year ANZ – Intalock

· Services Partner of the Year ANZ - Insentra

The awards night was co-hosted by Brenton Smith, vice president and managing director for Symantec, Pacific Region and Klasie Holtzhausen, senior director, Channel and Alliances, Symantec, Pacific Region.

“The awards represent Symantec’s appreciation of its channel community," Smith says.

"It underscores our commitment to our channel partners and provides us with a great platform to recognise and reward them for delivering outstanding value to Symantec and its customers.

Symantec also launched its new Partner Program in Australia and New Zealand at the awards night.
