McAfee is providing a double offering of updates for partners through two events in Auckland this month.

Held on Thursday September 13, the solutions provider will present the McAfee Partner Summit followed by the McAfee Security Connected 2012 series conference, directed towards partners and their key customers.

Kicking off at 9:30am, the McAfee Partner Summit gives partners the opportunity to learn about new partner programs, strategies, and exciting solutions from McAfee.

The event brings together the McAfee partner community for a day of learning, discussion and networking with comment from senior company executives and industry leaders.

The partner program update includes in-depth sales training sessions identifying the customer problem, McAfee solutions, the competitive landscape, handling key objections, and customer case studies.

Partners can discover how McAfee cutting-edge solutions can grow their business while hearing the company’s corporate direction and strategy for 2012.

McAfee will provide insight into product roadmaps and emerging new markets, allowing for interaction and networking between peers, business leaders, technical experts and other members of the partner community.

After a scheduled complimentary lunch, the company will provide partners and their customers with a product and solutions update through Security Connected.

Forward-thinking security leaders will discuss the emerging trends, strategies and technologies that are shaping the industry.

McAfee says the event will help reduce risk and secure existing assets while enabling new technologies that drive business further.

Aimed at IT directors and privacy officers as well as security resellers and distributors, the event showcases an opportunity to strategise, network and learn about the latest tricks and newest technologies to keep your company safe.

Attendees will learn how to optimise security investment, gain greater control and manage risk while achieving compliance and improved efficiencies.

The full-day double bill will be hosted at the Pullman Auckland Hotel – with the Partner Summit running 9:30am – 12:00pm and the Security Connected series taking place 1:00pm – 5:00pm.
