Accelerated Concepts fires up local channel for 4G failover routers
4G failover router vendor Accelerated Concepts has appointed NPS as its master reseller for Australia and New Zealand as the vendor seeks to accelerate its local growth.
The new deal will see NPS managing the reseller channel across Australia and New Zealand as well as selling through Accelerated Concepts Australian web store. The products have previously not been marketed in Australia and New Zealand, but are sold globally by United States-based Accelerated Concepts Inc.
Accelerated Concepts routers, which are designed by a Brisbane-based engineering team, use an embedded carrier-certified cellular modem to provide internet access via 4G LTE and 3G cellular wireless data networks when primary access fails.
David Malcolm, NPS executive director, says the failover routers offer 'tremendous' value for both resellers and customers, providing a fast alternative to keep businesses running when broadband breaks down.
The Accelerated 6350 router is capable of speeds of up to 300 megabits per second, Malcolm says.
"We believe this is a cost effective investment in failsafe operation for organisations that demand reliable internet connective, from point of sales support for retailers and popup shops to medical practices needing fast, high capacity internet access.
Malcolm says NPS is seeking resellers such as vertical software solution providers, system integrators, communications companies and telcos who can support clients in industries including retail, fast food, infrastructure and automotive sales and service.
"Acclerated offers advanced product that are highly configurable and easily deployable when compared to other products, and they're available at a great price," Malcolm says.
Matt Ramsay, Accelerated Concepts managing director, says the NPS deal addresses a large opportunity for the company's products in Australia and New Zealand.
"Accelerated Australia is 100% focused on building a quality product that is tailored for the ANZ, US and global markets," Ramsay says.
"Our engineering team designs all the firmware, software, hardware and packaging for Accelerated products, manages their purchasing and manufacturing and is responsible for gaining appropriate certifications for both our domestic market and abroad," he adds.
