The Access Group has announced the acquisition of ChangeGPS, an Australian software company. Founded in Brisbane in 2016, ChangeGPS was the recipient of the Xero Practice App of the Year award in 2022 for its innovative software designed to aid Australia's 14,000 accounting firms boost profitable growth for their clients as well as their own firms.
This development signifies The Access Group's ongoing commitment to small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) and accounting firms in Australia and New Zealand. ChangeGPS represents the fourth accounting-tech acquisition in ANZ for The Access Group over the past three years, bringing together a suite of services to help accounting firms maximise growth opportunities most effectively.
The Access Group and ChangeGPS's combined efforts will allow Access customers to optimise their potential through a streamlined suite of accounting tools. The merger of these two services is designed to promote profitable and sustainable growth for firms and their clients while also better equipping them to capitalise on new technologies.
