Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise announces new desk phone range for navigating the digital age
Telecommunications equipment company Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has announced a new range of desk phones that they say are designed for the fast-moving digital age.
The company says that the new phones have been created to help face the growing number of challenges posed by hybrid work environments and remote working.
Available in three different models, all phones are designed with a range of innovations, including 3D voice capture for meetings in large rooms, connections to wireless networks, embedded VPN client for remote working, as well as a choice of colours and accessories.
The models are sold in a tier format, with different models suiting different business needs:
Basic
With a compact format and SIP connectivity, this desk phone is compatible with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise communication servers and provides advanced telephony business features.
Essential
Features a streamlined design, quality audio, and a unique port enabling hybrid digital and IP connectivity.
Enterprise
Provides a modular, stylish design, 360 surround audio quality and is available in four colours through customisation kits. These desk phones feature a large variety of connectivity options and are ideal for office and remote working situations.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise communication business division EVP Nicolas Brunel says that the new phones are an ideal way for companies to stay connected using the latest technology.

"Their design and advanced capabilities make them an essential component of any digital workplace in combination with our communication servers and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprises cloud-based Rainbow UCaaS platform.
The introduction of the new desk phones is also closely linked to a new business strategy launched by the company, which they say will help strengthen partnerships and foster further innovation.
