ANZ firms shine at 2024 Geo & Global AWS Awards

The 2024 Geo and Global AWS Partner Awards have recognised several top partners for their achievements in leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies.

Among the winners, three Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) partners were particularly noted for their contributions. Versent was named the Industry Partner of the Year - Energy and Utilities in the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region. For its contributions in the public sector, TechnologyOne received the title of Public Sector Technology Partner of the Year - APJ. Additionally, Local Measure was honoured as the Marketplace Partner of the Year in the APJ category.

Rianne van Veldhuizen, Managing Director at AWS Australia and New Zealand, commended the winners, stating, "Congratulations to Local Measure, TechnologyOne, and Versent for your win at this year's AWS Partner Awards at AWS re:Invent. We're thrilled to see so many local AWS Partners recognised for their innovative and transformative work for our customers."

The awards span multiple categories and recognise partners for their excellence in various competencies, including security, migration, data and analytics, and generative AI, among others. Partners could participate through a self-nomination process, and selections were made with an emphasis on customer success use cases.

A third-party audit by Canalys ensured objectivity in the awards process. The assessment considered several metrics to measure partner performance, with award categories designed to highlight both winners and finalists.

These recognitions were part of the ongoing effort by AWS to acknowledge the work of partners who provide a wide range of solutions to customers on a global scale, especially in leveraging AWS-driven innovations to meet industry and sector-specific needs.
