FYI, this story is more than a year old

Arbor Networks has partnered with Duo, the specialist security IT distributor, to better serve its New Zealand customer base.

The partnership will enable Arbor to offer greater support and additional training programmes, and will improve the overall service the company provides.

The addition of Arbor Networks' DDoS and advanced threat detection solutions to Duo's portfolio builds upon its existing network related performance, optimisation and security offerings.

“Joining forces with Duo will really bring added-value to our resellers in New Zealand. The partnership will enable us to offer better services and support, by tapping into Duo's extensive understanding of the enterprise reseller market locally,” says Nick Race, Arbor Networks New Zealand country manager.

“We are looking forward to Duo becoming part of the Arbor Networks team. Network security has never been as important as it is today, and further building our distribution network through the New Zealand channel market will enable greater customisation and specialisation of our solutions,” says Race.

“With reports of DDoS attacks on high-profile organisations appearing regularly in the news in New Zealand, the demand for a solution that detects and mitigates network-based threats is high on the agenda for all companies,” says Kendra Ross, Duo director and co-founder.

“As a global leader in network security with a unique and innovative market offering, Arbor Networks is an ideal fit for Duo as a specialist in bringing next-generation technologies to the channel.

“Arbor is a key addition to Duo's portfolio of solutions that identify performance issues and provide the analytics to pinpoint their specific causes, enabling fast and effective resolution of problems,” she says.

Arbor Networks' partner portal will include functionality enhancements to improve features and reports.

It will also refine rebates to allow top-tier partners to benefit more based on quarterly targets, as well as expanding its online partner training schemes.
