Wed, 20th Dec 2023

CCL has been recognised as a 'Major Player' in APAC Cloud Professional Services by the IDC MarketScape: Asia Pacific Cloud Professional Services 2023-2024 Vendor Assessment. CCL is the only New Zealand owned and operated provider to receive this distinction.

Cloud Professional Services involve a range of services provided by cloud consultants to help organisations achieve their desired business outcomes with cloud computing. The IDC MarketScape study represents a vendor evaluation of the Asia-Pacific 2023-2024 cloud professional services market.

Richard Adams, CEO of CCL, expresses pride in this recognition. He says, "We see firsthand how complex it can be for businesses to transition to the cloud, particularly when they rely on legacy systems, or they have workloads that they want to keep stored in New Zealand, or they want to take advantage of the latest technology innovations."

CCL leverages its locally owned and domiciled cloud platforms and data centre network, allied with strong partnerships with leading global providers, in offering a comprehensive range of professional and managed services. These enable New Zealand organisations to make the best possible decisions for their cloud strategies.

Adams believes that this recognition by IDC MarketScape is a testament to CCL's successful cloud services to a wide range of New Zealand organisations. He further explains, "Our nationwide team of cloud experts support many of Aotearoa's private and public sector organisations to navigate their cloud journey."

"This includes support with cloud strategies as well as cloud architecture and security - right through to application migration and modernisation."

"The cloud isn’t just an option, it’s the preferred platform for digital businesses. Cloud professional services providers are critical to helping businesses transition to a modern, cloud-centric model," says Pushkaraksh Shanbhag, Associate Director, Cloud and IT Services Research, IDC Asia/Pacific.

He adds that the transformative services provided by such vendors require businesses to thoughtfully assess providers against their unique needs and this report assists enterprises in making informed decisions that match these specific requirements.

IDC MarketScape's vendor assessment model provides an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilises a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria to comparatively analyse each vendor's position within the market.

CCL is New Zealand's largest locally-focused IT services and hybrid cloud provider, offering end-to-end IT management, cloud platforms and technology services for more than 1,000 clients, ranging from government departments and local governments to DHBs, insurers and SMEs.
