Cudy networking range launches in NZ with local support
Computer Dynamics has announced the introduction of Cudy networking products to the New Zealand market.
Cudy, based in Shenzhen and founded in 2018, is internationally recognised for its range of Wi-Fi routers, mesh networking systems, 4g/5 G modems, access points, and smart home devices. The brand positions its offerings as combining affordability with performance and user-friendly features, including Cudy Whole Home Mesh, DNS over TLS, and compatibility with OpenWRT.
In addition, Cudy provides an app on App Store and Google Play to support its products, alongside online emulators intended to demonstrate the product management panel to partners and customers.
Cudy states its commitment to sustainable production, citing audits verifying eco-friendliness, labour rights, and workplace safety. The company sources components from suppliers such as Broadcom, Intel, and Silicon Labs. For example, the WR3600 router is powered by a Broadcom chipset.
Computer Dynamics, as the New Zealand distributor for Cudy, will be responsible for maintaining local stock, providing technical support, and offering expertise to partners seeking reliable networking equipment. The distributor is producing local video content to help users understand and use the Cudy range.
Computer Dynamics has been involved in the New Zealand networking sector with its Dynamix brand of structured cabling solutions, which includes a 25-year limited warranty. The company also distributes networking brands including Edimax, CTC Union, and Edgecore, but Cudy represents its initial entry into Wi-Fi products. With warehouses located in Auckland and Christchurch, Computer Dynamics aims to ensure efficient delivery nationwide. Evaluation units of Cudy products are available for customers to request trial access.
Fletcher Prendergast, General Manager Sales at Computer Dynamics, said, "We're excited to introduce Cudy to the New Zealand market. Cudy has seen success globally and brings exceptional value and cutting-edge technology to the table, whether you're a home user looking for seamless streaming or a business seeking dependable network infrastructure."
Ivan Li, Sales Director, Americas & ANZ, commented, "We are pleased to be partnering with Computer Dynamics to bring Cudy to New Zealand. CDL are a leader in network and communication technologies."
Cudy's product lineup in New Zealand includes Wi-Fi 7 mesh systems for comprehensive home coverage, 4G/5G wireless routers targeted at rural broadband and mobile applications, business-class VPN routers with enhanced security features, Wi-Fi 7 smart access points, and gigabit switches for network expansion. All products are offered with a local warranty and support via Computer Dynamics.
The arrival of Cudy in the New Zealand market is designed to meet the increasing demand for reliable, secure, and scalable connectivity in both residential and commercial settings. The range includes affordable Wi-Fi 7 routers and advanced gateway solutions with VPN support.
Cudy products can be ordered through Computer Dynamics. The distributor will host an Open Day at its Auckland and Christchurch offices in May, allowing customers to review the available options and consult with Computer Dynamics staff.
