Development, profitability key for new Kiwi APC by Schneider Electric program
APC by Schneider Electric says it is upping the focus on improving development, profitability and support for channel partners with the launch of its new partner program in New Zealand.
Muralee Kanagaratnam, Schneider Electric Pacific general manager of channel and alliances, says the UPS, server room and battery backup vendor has been working on bringing a partner program to New Zealand 'for a while'.
The launch follows a reshuffle of the vendor's local distribution channel, with Dicker Data New Zealand appointed to the line up in August alongside longstanding APC distributor Westcon-Comstor, and Ingram Micro New Zealand ending its deal with the vendor.
"The focus of this new partner program is really around helping increase profitability, enablement and support for channel partners to provide the best possible partner experience," Kanagaratnam says.
"In developing this, we've taken on board feedback from previous partner programs to ensure we're delivering what partners really want and need from the program," he adds.
"We've seen tremendous success with our existing programs, and we look forward to replicating this in New Zealand," Kanagaratnam says.
