Winter might be cold but the pace is hot at tech distributor Connector Systems. Maintaining high velocity throughout 2012, it has added further vendors and personnel to its stables as it seeks to provide resellers with more choices to solve business challenges. And, says MD Dale Smith, there is more to come in the latter half of the year.
Through June, the company added storage vendors Imation and ExaGrid, while also picking up the rights to distribute thin client solutions from IGEL. Smith confirms the company’s trajectory: “It’s been a fast paced first 6 months of 2012. We’ve added a number of new vendors to our portfolio, broadening the offering to our resellers, while extending our reach with the acquisition of Techplus,” he says.
The market can expect more, as Smith hints at an expansion plan which is still gathering momentum “As we launch into the second half of the year, we look forward to amping it up even further and continuing to offer our resellers high level brands and service,” he states.
Training and incentives – July
Smith adds that Connector Systems has a consistent focus on continued training and up skilling for its reseller network; it is also incentivising resellers to add Imation and ExaGrid to their solution offerings with special introductory deals.
