Intel has appointed Chee-Mei Gan as National Distribution Manager for Intel New Zealand and Australia, effective immediately.

In this role, Gan will work closely with distributors in the region and support them in driving demand for products based on Intel-Architecture.

These products include the latest desktop processors – such as the Intel Pentium Processor Anniversary Edition and 4th generation Intel Core “K” SKUs – through to SSDs, Next Unit of Computing systems, and tablets.

“Intel’s relationships with its New Zealand distributors are fundamental to our achievements at a local level,” says V.R.Rajkumar, Intel’s National Reseller Channel Manager for New Zealand and Australia.

“Chee-Mei is a talented and experienced manager who will continue to develop these relationships and provide our distribution partners with the necessary training and tools for success.”

Prior to joining Intel, Gan was director of product marketing for HP South Pacific’s personal systems group.

At HP she led a team of product marketing professionals with the mandate of driving growth strategy, market share, product ranging, pricing and demand generation. She has also held senior positions at Lenovo and Nokia.
