Forrester names Mimecast a Leader in information archiving
Mimecast, an email and data security company, has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Information Archiving Cloud Providers, Q1 2019 and a Top Player in the Radicati Information Archiving - Market Quadrant, 2019.
According to the Forrester Wave, "Mimecast excels in customer support, user experience, and email protection", while the Radicati Group highlighted how Mimecast's integration of Security, Archiving, Protection and Continuity means archives are fully accessible even during email outages and archived data remains fully protected against email-borne threats.
Organisations trust the guidance of industry analysts to make informed decisions. The reports provide a detailed evaluation of information archiving cloud providers and show how each one measures up, helping enterprise architecture professionals select the best solution for their needs.
"IT and governance teams around the world are facing ever-growing demands to gain more insights from their data while maintaining compliance and looking for help to tackle this challenge," says Mimecast product management director Shane Harris.
"Thousands of our customers have transformed their approach to Archiving from legacy systems saving them time, money and maximise their IT resources. We have our customers to thank for all their great feedback on our next-generation product innovation, exemplary customer support, and advanced expertise across archiving, security and business continuity."
On the heels of these new reports from Forrester and Radicati, Mimecast was also recently named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving for the fourth year in a row.
This industry recognition follows Mimecast's recent acquisition of Simply Migrate, an innovative provider of archive data migration technology.
This technology is engineered to further expand migration services for customers by helping to more effectively migrate data to the cloud - helping to reduce costs, safeguarding intellectual property, preserving institutional memory and accelerating e-discovery and archive compliance.
