Fortinet drives ANZ growth with new recruit

Fortinet continues the expansion of its ANZ management team with the appointment of Gary Gardiner as Director of Engineering.

Gardiner will be responsible for the technical leadership and management of the sales engineering team across Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific in support of Fortinet's continued growth.

“We are excited to welcome Gary to the Fortinet team," adds Kevin Dyson, Vice President of South Pacific Sales, Fortinet.

"Gary brings a wealth of technical knowledge and a dedication to customer service that aligns with Fortinet’s mission of allowing organisations to securely build, grow and simplify their IT infrastructure.

"He will also provide support to our loyal and highly capable channel.”

Most recently, he was the Northern Region Sales Engineering Manager for Check Point.

In addition to supporting the continued growth of the business, Gardiner will also drive and expand the engineering team to support the development of Fortinet’s portfolio.

This includes new solution capabilities such as DDoS, Advanced Threat Prevention and other advanced cloud-based solutions and emerging technologies supporting Software Defined Networking environments.

"I am very pleased to join the Fortinet team and to have the opportunity to work with an excellent team of engineers who are dedicated and focused on our customers' security needs," Gardiner adds.
