Gain business insights with Microsoft
Thu, 15th Nov 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Microsoft is running two events in early December, offering business insights for IT and business professionals interested in business intelligence.

The software giant will host the Business Insights Summit at both Wellington and Auckland, discussing Big Data and the opportunities which accompany it.

Research firm Forrester will kick-start the event, sharing trends and insights impacting organisations around the world, while displaying when best to apply these trends to gain a competitive advantage.

"Best Hi-Tech Start-up" VMob will follow on, discussing how they seized the Big Data business opportunity since their launch in November 2010.

Microsoft says that while the keynote sessions will provide high level perspective, attendees will also get the opportunity to dig deeper and follow their own interests within the different sessions.

By selecting one of the three tracks on offer, Microsoft says the event appeals to technology decision makers and technical implementers across organisations of all sizes in New Zealand.

Tracks:

* The Modern Enterprise Track

Aimed towards business and technical decision makers at large organisations, take the opportunity to gain information required to develop short and long term strategies for business intelligence and big data.

Find out how you can deliver breakthrough insight to your organisation by leveraging the investments you’ve already made to deliver improved TCO.

*
Technical Track

IT implementers and professionals that want to dig deeper into the technical capability in SQL Server 2012 and the Microsoft stack of technology should attend these sessions.*
The Small to Medium Business Track

Are you wondering how to gain a competitive advantage with a more robust BI solution?

Business leaders in growing organisations are faced with many important decisions with this track ranging from start-up firms to 200+, including those in larger organisations new to BI.

Held at either the Rydges Hotel in Wellington on December 4 or The Langham Hotel in Auckland on December 5, Microsoft will announce further details in the coming weeks on the event website.
