Granicus unveils advanced data & AI tools for governments
Granicus has announced the latest updates to its solutions suite, including new data analytics capabilities and advanced AI/ML solutions aimed at modernising government experiences.
Granicus collaborates with over 6,500 government agencies globally, providing a platform that enhances citizen engagement through the Government Experience Cloud (GXC). This suite combines technology, data, and services to help governments improve public sector operations and foster community trust.
This year's focus for Granicus includes significant advancements in its solutions, particularly the launch of Operations Cloud. This new solution aims to enhance operational efficiency by automating tasks traditionally managed by clerks and IT staff, thereby improving compliance and transparency while optimising resources.
Operations Cloud integrates agenda management, video streaming, and record request fulfilment solutions to help public sector organisations mitigate legal risks and improve public trust. This integration delivers tangible resource savings, which can be redirected to critical projects.
Granicus's GXC suite, comprising Operations Cloud, Engagement Cloud, and Service Cloud, supports governments in creating engaged communities, modernising digital services, and reducing administrative burdens.
The company has also focused on embedding AI/ML capabilities across its GXC solutions to deliver enhanced user experiences while upholding stringent security standards. These technologies aim to provide insights into community behaviours and preferences, thus enabling agencies to deliver more personalised services.
Coming in 2025, Granicus plans to release several AI enhancements, including the Government Experience Agent (GXA), a digital assistant providing real-time support in multiple languages and the Government Experience Insights (GXI) engine for advanced analytics. GXA offers a digital assistant experience to help residents navigate local services efficiently, while GXI enables agencies to gauge citizen satisfaction and identify service improvements.
Additionally, the introduction of generative AI assistants within GXC solutions will aid in content automation, thereby streamlining numerous administrative tasks faced by government agencies.
Granicus has identified a shortage of skilled workers as a barrier to progressing digital transformation initiatives. To address this, the company is launching managed experience services, which act as an extension of government teams. These services are geared towards advancing operational excellence and customer experience by leveraging Granicus's technical and strategic expertise.
