Growing Connector Systems appoints Aus GM
Fri, 8th Mar 2013
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Connector Systems has reacted to company growth, making an in-house general manager of Australia promotion as well as two Sydney-based appointments.

The value-added distributor has appointed Andrew Craze as GM, only five months after joining the business as a strategic partner manager.

Connector says Craze has brought "a wealth of commercial experience in the IT industry at both distributor and vendor levels."

“Over the past five months, Craze has proved himself as a highly strategic thinker and a focussed and results-driven leader," says Dale Smith, MD ANZ, Connector Systems.

Craze's previous experience includes seven years working with Ingram Micro Australia and a stint at Carl Zeiss Australasia.

The company also announced the recruitment of Shane Boswell as product manager and Rhonda Chandler as northern region partner development manager.

Both to be based in Sydney, Boswell moves across the ditch following two years working in the company's Auckland office, while Chandler joins the firm after roles with Fujitsu PC Australia, Channel Dynamics, Alstom IT and Konica Minolta.

Connector says Boswell will be tasked with delivering its vendor and channel partners with the service and information needed to simplify solution propositions, as well as within the sales area of the business.

Chandler's role will involve managing and developing channel partners across Australia's NSW, ACT, Queensland and NT states.
