Hackuity partners with Wiz to bolster cloud security efforts
Hackuity has announced a new partnership with the cloud security provider Wiz as it joins the Wiz Integration Network (WIN), which aims to enhance cloud risk reduction and improve vulnerability management.
Hackuity's inclusion in the Wiz Integration Network brings its intelligent Risk-Based Vulnerability Management platform to a broader partner ecosystem, facilitating easier integration of Wiz into existing vulnerability workflows for customers. The platform integrates threat intelligence, vulnerability severity, and unique business context, offering organisations a 'True Risk Score' for more accurate risk insight.
The collaboration within WIN allows for exchanging prioritised security findings, offering mutual customers enhanced assessments by sharing context related to inventory, vulnerabilities, issues, and configuration findings. Key benefits include prioritising threats, automated remediation, and improved security outcomes.
By prioritising threats, the partnership assists IT teams in addressing remediation tasks specific to their attack surfaces, thus enabling better allocation of resources. Contextual information aims to decrease the urgency associated with addressing multiple vulnerabilities. Wiz's capacity to identify toxic combinations of risks is highlighted as a pivotal feature.
Automation of vulnerability-related tasks as part of the integration is poised to streamline IT teams' operations. This could potentially improve security by allowing teams to fix system vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them.
Hackuity CEO, Patrick Ragaru, stated, "We're honoured to be part of the WIZ integration platform to ensure customers can risk-assess vulnerabilities with the most accurate and context-rich information. The number of threats is growing, but the reality is that only a small number of these will contribute a high risk to an organisation. With this integration, customers have full visibility to predict and protect themselves from the cyber vulnerabilities that matter to them."
Oron Noah, VP of Product Extensibility & Partnerships at Wiz, commented, "Our partnership with Hackuity makes cloud security more accessible and scalable for our customers. By combining the value of our CNAPP with Hackuity's vulnerability management capabilities, we're helping security teams better prioritise and remediate threats. I'm so glad to have them on board, helping to empower organisations with a cohesive, integrated approach to cloud security."
The Wiz Integration Network is designed to develop a cloud security operating model where security and cloud teams can collaboratively manage risks across the CI/CD pipeline. The partnership positions Wiz to further its strategy of providing integrated solutions to bolster organisations' operational capabilities.
