Wendy Watkinson (pictured) has been named Executive of Channels for Australia and New Zealand.

Watkinson's new role will see he in charge of developing the channel business and overseeing all of the company’s existing channel and strategic partnerships. The position is based in Sydney, where Watkinson will report to Neville Vincent, Managing Director in ANZ.

With Wendy’s proven capabilities and experience, I am confident that our partners will have the skills, tools and resources to provide reliable storage solutions for their customers,” said Neville Vincent, Managing Director, Hitachi Data Systems in Australia and New Zealand.

Watkinson has over 12 years’ experience and she previously held the position of Territory Channel Sales Manager in NSW. Prior to joining Hitachi, Watkinson held a number of business development and channel sales roles at Nortel.
