Hp NZ is focused on strengthening its existing partner relationships through the introduction of two new channel relationship roles. Ali Fleming has been appointed as Channel Services and Education Manager, and Lotte Maxwell is the new Channel and Education Delivery Manager for New Zealand. In the newly-created position of Services and Education Manager, Fleming will be responsible for maintaining and extending HP’s Channel Services business and will take ownership of the marketing strategies for the group. In addition to this, Fleming will manage HP’s end user education portfolio, which provides education, training and certification. Fleming says HP is concentrating on investing more in the channel than ever before.“We will now be working more on a one-on-one basis with key channel partners to work out what their business needs are,” Fleming stated. “We’re aiming to build more individual strategies with them.”Maxwell’s new role covers three key areas of responsibility: operational management and delivery excellence of the Channel Delivery program, managing the Education and Certificate programes, and administering HP’s Authorised Business Solution Partner Program. Maxwell believes HP’s network of channel partners is integral to its business.“We plan on staying in regular touch with our partners and developing better forms of communication, such as monthly newsletters,” said Maxwell. “I am focused on making sure HP continues to build a portfolio of channel and delivery partners in the corporate market that makes us competitive on an international scale.”
