Hewlett Packard Enterprise has launched what it says is a unique partner presales community for local resellers, designed to offer ongoing engagement and training.
The HPE Tech Pro Academy aims to help partners grow revenues by improving their ability to deliver innovative digital transformation solutions for customers and includes networking, training and an industry-first rewards program for partner presales professionals.
Chris Trevitt, Hewlett Packard Enterprise South Pacific director of partner sales, says more than 80% of HPE’s business in Asia Pacific goes via channel partners.
“Their success is our success,” Trevitt says. “HPE Tech Pro Academy is designed to give partners what they’ve told us they need – a better way to achieve deeper technical skills and expertise.
“For the organisations, having a presales team that can deliver technologically advanced solutions designed to deliver maximum business value is critical to maintaining competitive edge.
“For pre-sales professionals, the deeper their knowledge, the brighter their career prospects.”
HPE says members will have access to an ongoing stream of education opportunities mapping back to a structured ‘lesson plan’ designed to enable individuals to evolve and build the skills and knowledge, with content localised on a country-by-country basis and developed and delivered in collaboration with HPE OEM and strategic alliances partners.
The training is aligned to HPE’s Partner Ready Competencies.
A rewards program, which tracks sales generated by Tech Pro Academy members and provides them with the opportunity to benefit individually while increasing revenue for partner organisations they work through, is also included.
The academy also provides access to exclusive online platforms and in-person networking with regional presales professionals and HPE’s global presales team members.
