Backed by distributor Ingram Micro, Samsung is launching five notebooks into the New Zealand channel.
The models being introduced are:
N150 Plus - RRP$699
N220 Plus - RRP$799
R540 - RRP$1499
R590 - RRP$1899
Q330 - RRP$2299
Samsung launched to great success in Australia during Q2 last year, said Samsung Product Manager, Lane Stephens.
Main rivals in the laptop space are seen as Toshiba, Sony, HP and other major players. Stephens wouldn’t be drawn on whether or not the company had any internal projections for its debut into New Zealand’s notebook scene, adding that it’s for the long term.
All laptops include Samsung’s patented AllShare technology, which allows users to wirelessly control, search, swap and play videos, pictures and music across their DLNA-certified devices such as cameras, TVs, PCs and mobile handsets.
