FYI, this story is more than a year old

Ixia, the networks solutions provider, has launched its new Xceed partner programme with the intention of growing partner success and expanding the business.

The programme has been designed to accelerate the sales cycle for the company's technology partners, to provide implementation guidance for integrated solutions, and to create faster time-to-value for customers and channel partners, according to Ixia.

A key goal of the Xceed programme is to facilitate collaboration between technology partners working in key areas such as virtualisation, big data analytics, and IoT. This collaboration can then strengthen customer networks, analysis tools, and applications, according to Ixia.

“From development, to market, to deployment, Ixia's unique combination of test and visibility products enable our technology partners to provide their customers with full and immediate value from their security and performance monitoring solutions,” says Scott Westlake, Ixia vice president of business development.

“The goal of the Xceed programme is to accelerate technology implementations and value for end-users, while driving new and profitable sales opportunities for partners,” he says.

According to Ixia, the key benefits of the Xceed Technology Partner Programme are:

  • Preferred access to select Ixia products
  • Solution strategy and design workshops
  • Solution integration and support
  • Best practice training for system engineers and deployment teams
  • Jointly developed 'Solution Activation' kits help technology and channel partners accelerate the sales cycle and differentiate from the competition
  • Joint lead generation webinars and regional marketing events

Technology vendors currently participating in Ixia's Xceed partner programme include A10, CA Technologies, Cisco, Endace, Extreme Networks, FireEye, Fortinet, HPE, Imperva, Intel Security, LogRhythm, Palo Alto Networks, Riverbed and SolarWinds.

Ixia says the new partner programme is already facilitating greater collaboration with key vendors.

“Ixia's test and visibility solutions enable our mutual channel partners to validate the scalability and resiliency of the joint Imperva/Ixia solution under realistic conditions,” says Ayelet Steinitz, Imperva vice president of business development.

“FireEye relies on Ixia to develop, sell, and deploy our market leading security products,” says Ed Barry, FireEye vice president of cyber security coalition. “The Xceed Partner Programme ensures our joint customers have comprehensive secure networks that quickly adapt to a dynamic threat environment," he says.
