FYI, this story is more than a year old

FrontRange has promoted Steve Lindeman to the newly created position of chief customer officer, aimed at bridging the gap between customer wants and needs.

As CCO, Lindeman will be responsible for developing a clear understanding between company and customer, managing the customer experience across the firm.

"A chief customer officer is a powerful asset that can help resolve customer issues, create sustainable competitive advantage, help retain customers, and drive customer behavior," says Jon Temple, president and CEO, FrontRange.

"Steve’s deep understanding of customer service best practices, that serve our 15,000 customers worldwide, has led to this critical new role as Chief Customer Officer.

"The appointment sends a strong message to our market that we are focused on initiatives that promote the concept of ‘customers for life."

For the past year, Lindeman has served as vice president of professional services and support at the company, where he streamlined customer service engagements.

“It’s gratifying that my customer service efforts have resulted in the formation of a new executive level position that puts an absolute premium on constantly improving the customer experience,” Lindeman says.
