Logitech’s new headset for open environments
Logitech has released a new product for open office environments, the Zone Wireless Headset.
The headset features active noise cancellation (ANC) and is one of the first to include Qi wireless charging.
"Many professionals bring their own headphones to work, however they do not address the typical needs of an open office," says Logitech Audio vice president and general manager Philippe Depallens.
"Logitech Zone Wireless is designed with contemporary style, supreme comfort, and audio call clarity, as well as active noise cancellation and great sound quality for music, whenever and wherever you need it."
ANC Zone reduces background noise regardless of the ambient noise level in the workplace.
Leatherette ear pad material and a silicone padded headband add to comfort and the battery boasts up to 15 hours of available talk time and music.
The headset also features an uninterrupted connectivity range of 30m range, as well as a noise-cancelling microphone.
Easy-Switch technology allows users to connect and switch between a smartphone and computer through Bluetooth.
Once paired with the downloadable companion app, Logitech Tune, users can control the headset using the app, from activating the mute or ANC functions to adjusting the sound equaliser, as well as providing firmware upgrades.
The main button in the centre of the ear cup can be pressed to answer/end calls or play/pause while listening to music and users can mute the headset by raising the microphone boom.
Zone Wireless is certified for Skype for Business and approved for Microsoft Teams.
Logitech has worked closely with partners like Google Cloud, Zoom, Fuze, Unify, TrueConf, and StarLeaf to ensure a seamless user experience.
It will also support some of the most popular collaboration, conferencing and voice applications like Cisco WebEx, Cisco Jabber, and Go-To-Meeting.
