Microsoft reveals Surface Pro 3 NZ pricing

29 May 14

Microsoft’s new Surface Pro 3 will start from $1,119 in New Zealand, with the 12-inch device set to ship by August 31.

Billed as the ‘best of a laptop, best of a tablet’, Redmond’s latest release comes with free shipping, with pre-orders now available via the Microsoft Store.

“So many people carry both a laptop and a tablet but really want just one device that serves all purposes,” said Panos Panay, corporate vice president, Microsoft Surface, earlier this month.

“Surface Pro 3 is the tablet that can replace your laptop — packing all the performance of a fully powered laptop into a thin, light and beautifully designed device.”

NZ pricing is as follows:

• 64GB / Intel i3 - $1,199

• 128GB / Intel i5 - $1,449

• 256GB / Intel i5 - $1,879

• 256GB / Intel i7 - $2,249

• 512GB / Intel i7 - $2,829
