NetIQ appoints Gen-i as MSP

Announced today, Gen-i is now an official Managed Service Provider (MSP) for NetIQ products in the Unified Communications (UC) space in ANZ.NetIQ, an Attachmate company, said the partnership follows a successful three-year relationship between the two companies. Gen-i has used NetIQ AppManager to monitor voice and data networks for a number of clients in New Zealand and Australia in that time.“During the last three years, we’ve enjoyed working closely with Gen-i and watched them achieve fantastic results for their customers,” said Martin Mooney, Territory Manager, New Zealand, for Attachmate. “We’re thrilled to formalise the partnership and continue raising the profile of VoIP and UC technologies together across the region.”Gen-i has also built an in-house infrastructure that consists of 20 virtual servers that currently hosts NetIQ managed services for clients. The company plans to expand its managed service capability into the UC space in the near future.The NetIQ solution is part of the Gen-i Management Portfolio, which includes IP Telephony Management but also Server Monitoring and Management, virtualisation, database, Response Time Monitoring, Security Information and Event Management, and OCS Management within the Gen-i Management Platform.
