Gallagher Security has announced the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in India, coinciding with a recent visit by New Zealand's Prime Minister to the country.

The agreements seek to bolster New Zealand's footprint in India's educational, technological, and industrial sectors among others, as highlighted by Prime Minister Christopher Luxon's recent visit.

During the India-New Zealand Economic Forum, which was arranged by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and hosted by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, Gallagher Security entered into a Channel Partner agreement with Johnson Controls India.

Rajeev Mecheri, Director – India at Gallagher Security, stated, "Partnerships like Gallagher and JCI's set the stage for trailblazing solutions that not only push the boundaries of technology but also prioritise security and user experience." He further noted, "The collaboration with Johnson Controls will be instrumental in securing future opportunities across India, and we look forward to a future of shared continued success."

Arun Ashwathy, President and Managing Director of Johnson Controls India, remarked, "With Gallagher Security, we bring together a proven legacy of delivering cutting-edge integrated security solutions. We're excited for what's ahead as we work together to safeguard people, facilities, and assets across India."

The economic forum in New Delhi was attended by over 80 representatives including members of the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, Indian Minister for Trade and Commerce Piyush Goyal, and other New Zealand officials.

In Mumbai, a second Channel Partner agreement was signed between Gallagher and Ardelysis Technologies during the same week.

Deneshkumar V, General Manager – India at Gallagher Security, commented, "These MoU signings with our partners not only strengthen our existing partnerships but also showcase our collaboration to a broader audience, paving the way for future business opportunities."

A total of 33 MoUs were signed during the Prime Minister's visit, showcasing the growing relations between New Zealand and Indian enterprises.
