Nuance Communications will ramp up their channel efforts in 2014, spearheaded by a new Channel Program roll-out.
After thanking the company's partners for the "significant contributions" they made to the company during the year, the computer software firm has revealed a revamped channel approached.
"We are working on several initiatives that we are confident will help our organisations grow together in 2014," says Nathan Taylor, Director Channels APAC, Nuance Communications.
"We have redirected our focus with marketing and implemented a more targeted strategy, focusing on applications where our solutions add value to the target audiences we are addressing.
"We have implemented a direct business development approach where we will be targeting - through direct touch and key b2B lead generation campaigns - Tier 1 organisations across the region to help promote Nuance's solutions to the enterprise which will then result in opportunities for our Channel Partners to fulfil."
Whilst only new to the organisation himself, Taylor claims to have been impressed by the strength of the company's channel and the partners he has met so far.
Additionally in 2014, Nuance plans to develop and roll out a new Channel Program to provide organisations with more value in working with Nuance.
To help direct business development and Enterprise focus Taylor revealed that Craig Jennings has joined the APAC team from Nuance UK, where he helped grow the Channel through generating significant PDF and Dragon opportunities in Banking, Finance, Legal and Government sectors.
Jennings joins Nuance's Asia Pacific team with over 19 years industry experience including nine years with Nuance.
"Craig helped establish Nuance's UK business before then taking on EMEA wide roles and now coming over to replicate his success in Australia," Taylor adds.
"Prior to Nuance, Craig's experience included various roles with Microsoft, Gartner and Insight allowing him to truly understand all areas of IT infrastructure."
