FYI, this story is more than a year old

Enterprise cloud computing company Nutanix has announced it has appointed Andrew Diamond to the role of channel director for Australia and New Zealand.

In this role, Diamond is responsible for leading the company's channel business and managing all partnerships in the region.

This includes Dell, Lenovo, Dimension Data and local partners such as Qirx, winner of the Nutanix 2017 ‘Australian Partner of the Year' award announced recently at the company's flagship .NEXT On Tour conference in Melbourne.

Diamond reports to Jacob Pereira, Nutanix Asia Pacific and Japan channel director, and is tasked with further developing existing partner relationships, as well as identifying and new partnership opportunities in the region.

He was previously Lenovo alliance manager within Nutanix, prior to which he worked with Dell, one of first OEM partners for Nutanix globally.

“Andrew knows Nutanix well and has unique experience from working on both sides of our channel,” says Pereira.

“He has already established great relationships with many of our key partners and is perfectly positioned to build further success with them and find new partners to build out our Enterprise Cloud OS software.”

“Nutanix has a strong and growing channel presence in Australia and New Zealand,” says Diamond.

“Partners which see the opportunities and can evolve from traditional infrastructure frameworks into delivering software-driven applications to businesses have found and will continue to find success with Nutanix – these are the types of partners we're looking for.”
