NV Interactive takes out Microsoft dev prize
Tue, 26th Jun 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kiwi web design and development agency NV Interactive has been recognised along with three other New Zealand businesses at Microsoft’s global partner awards.

The company took out the competitive Web Development Partner of the Year award, a category in which it was named as a finalist in 2011.

Two other businesses were named as finalists: Kinetics in the Small Business Specialist and Innovative NGO categories, and Business Mechanix in the Public Sector – Education category.

Intergen was recognised as New Zealand’s Country Partner of the Year for the third time, having last received the award in 2010.

As if winning the prize wasn’t a big enough achievement after coming so close in 2011, NV Interactive was also recognised with a citizenship award for its work supporting the Christchurch earthquake rebuild.

Matt Pickering, CEO of NV Interactive, says although it’s ‘fantastic’ to be recognised on the world stage, the humanitarian award is perhaps the more important.

"We are extremely proud to have played such a key role in supporting our community through this unimaginable time,” Pickering says.

The businesses will all be officially recognised at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference, being held from July 8-12 in Toronto.
