Palo Alto changes up partner programme
Palo Alto Networks has announced several changes to its NextWave Partner Programme, which will boost programme flexibility, fuel long-term growth and enable the expansion of partner-led services.
NextWave enhancements include:
- New profitability initiatives - New options for partners to grow their businesses with streamlined program levels, tiered discount structures, and new partner incentives aimed at boosting margins and profitability
- New partner-led services opportunities - A new dedicated Managed Services Programme, providing partners with a clear path for capitalising on the rapidly growing managed services opportunity
- New systems and processes - Automated systems and processes to make doing business easier. These advancements simplify the quoting and approval process to accelerate the sales cycle and improve the overall partner experience.
"Our continued growth and success are dependent on our ability to quickly adapt to changing customer, market, and business dynamics together with our partners," says Palo Alto Networks worldwide channels senior vice president Karl Soderlund.
"The NextWave Partner Programme enhancements unveiled today underscore our commitment to the channel by providing more opportunities to excel together and keep our mutual customers protected from successful cyber attacks."
Sunderland expands on the need for the changes to the programme, in a Palo Alto blog post highlight the need for organisations to stay abreast of the continual changes that the channel as a whole undergoes.
"Today, organisations require a more integrated and automated approach to cybersecurity, along with a full set of partner-delivered services, to safely enable digital transformation via cloud adoption," he writes.
"By enhancing the NextWave Partner Program, we open up a tremendous amount of opportunity for our partners, strengthen their overall experience, and make it easier to build a successful business practice based on Palo Alto Networks.
