Telegistics preps for new growth phase led by new CEO
Spark-owned ICT and logistics business Telegistics has a new CEO at the helm – former HP executive Victoria Mahan.
Mahan previously worked at HP as company director, as well as commercial and enterprise sales manager, chief financial officer, and category marketing manager.
Mahan says her immediate focus will be to reconnect with channel partner and resellers, in addition to supplying partners with "customer centric value-added supply chain and distribution solutions".
According to Telegistics board director Rajesh Singh, Mahan's appointment signals the next phase of growth for the company.
Telegistics' product portfolio currently includes Cisco, Nokia and Ekahau, but the company wants to be the 'integration leader' in the end-to-end technology market in New Zealand.
"We see opportunity in the New Zealand market which we believe will support our growth aspirations. The key goal is to grow our distribution and services business to include end-to-end solutions. We are focusing on supply chain services including staging, provisioning, installation and support, and this will be supported by collaboration with customers, partners and vendors," says Singh.
"We are excited to welcome Victoria Mahan as CEO as she will bring the strategic and innovative leadership that is needed to own and drive the Telegistics brand, and its market strategy and positioning. Victoria has a strong people and culture background, as well as experience in IT distribution and resellers. She also has a deep understanding of the New Zealand market, which is pivotal for this role.
Telegistics has also recently supported its new growth phase with other new appointments, including new CFO, GM of sales, and GM of distribution.
Janet Moralde, the company's new GM of distribution, has spent almost five years at Spark in a value management COE role.
In a LinkedIn post, Telegistics mentions that Moralde has managed several Cisco support contract management best practices, as well as the Cisco Services Partner Program.
"Janet prides herself for being a trusted advisory in the distie world," the LinkedIn post states.
"[She] will bring the wealth of experience with her into the current role and is looking forward to further elevate Telegistics' distribution team where we are considered to be the new kid on the distribution block.
