Verkada appoints Dixon as Vice President for JAPAC region
Verkada has announced the appointment of Jonathon Dixon as Vice President of Japan and Asia-Pacific (JAPAC).
Jonathon Dixon will oversee Verkada's go-to-market teams and operations in the region from the company's JAPAC headquarters in Singapore. His role will cover offices in Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Jonathon's decades of leadership experience in the region will unlock even more opportunities for our team, and more importantly, make more communities in JAPAC safe and secure with privacy-respecting solutions."
Dixon joins Verkada from Cloudflare, where he served as Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China. His career also includes significant leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco, and IBM, where he gained experience leading the multi-billion dollar Enterprise Business Segment.

Verkada has established a considerable presence in the region, with organisations such as City Beach, the Chiba Lotte Marines, Brighton Grammar School, and Heinemann Australia employing its security solutions. The firm has further strengthened its regional footprint by partnering with integrators and installers like Focus Digital Security Solutions, Field Solutions Holdings, LG CNS, and Takachiho Koheki.
Verkada is involved in the cloud-based physical security industry, providing an integrated software platform that includes video security cameras, access control, environmental sensors, alarms, workplace management, and intercom systems. These solutions are used by more than 26,000 organisations in 85 countries.
