Make your desk phone yours with Yealink's Android smart desk phones

Yealink has once again made the smart desk phone space its own with the introduction of the SIP-T56A.

‘Ease-of-use’ was no doubt one of the main goals when designing this device, as its combination of productivity-enhancing visual communication with the ease of a standard phone is simple-to-use while providing an enriched HD audio experience for business professionals.

The Yealink SIP-T56A runs on the Android 5.1.1 operating system and features a seven-inch fixed multi-point touch screen, integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0+ EDR – it is also coupled with a built-in web browser, calendar, recorder and more, while also supporting the installation of third-party applications for business customisation.

What makes this device truly unique is that the experts at Yealink have been successful in finding that mystical balance between simplicity and sophistication, enabling complex tasks and enhancing productivity all with a simple process that is easy to manage.

This smart media phone has a number of key features, including:

HD Audio
No more grasping the phone to your ear, struggling to hear the other end as the Yealink SIP-T56A is built with the latest version of Yealink Optimal HD Voice technologies, in addition to supporting the Opus codec which helps maximise the acoustic performance of the phone’s handset, headset and particularly the speakerphone.

Android operating system to enable a better user experience
In addition to the apps already downloaded on the phone, the device enables administrators to easily install additional Android applications to improve collaboration and productivity. The Android OS also includes features like having the ability to have three separate idle screen views, drag for conference and transfer and a faster response speed for the user interface.

Enhanced interface for easier customization
The Yealink SIP-T56A not only includes Bluetooth 4.0+ EDR for pairing with headsets and mobile phones, but it also includes dual-port Gigabit Ethernet with PoE as well as built-in Wi-Fi. The USB 2.0 port allows for media and storage via a USB flash drive and a direct wired/wireless USB headset connection, while the SIP-T56A can also be paired with up to three Yealink colour-screen expansion modules.* EXP50 module sold separately.

Auto-Provisioning support
Administrators can take advantage of centralised deployment, management, updating and uninstalling to ensure application standardisation through Yealink’s efficient Auto-Provisioning support.

The Yealink SIP-T56A would be an asset for any business as it irons out previously complex tasks with a simple process that is easy-to-use.
