Commercialising innovation event this Thursday
Auckland-based entrepreneurs have been invited to hear two experts speak about commercialising innovation in New Zealand at a special event this Thursday.
First up will be founder and CEO of Massey University business development company ecentre, Steve Corbett, who will explain why the next seven years will be the best years for New Zealand software companies to get ahead.
Following this will be Paul Adams, founder and CEO of EverEdge IP, who will offer lessons on taking innovation from New Zealand to the world. Adams also founded the Icehouse Incubator, and was the IP manager for Navman NZ.
The evening event has been organised by the Auckland ICT Cluster, and will also include a discussion forum and a series of one-minute pitches from members of the organisation. Registration costs $25 – go here for more.
